Dental Implant Case: BY Bangkok Dental Spa - Dental Bangkok Thailand

The case is a little bit complicated case to fix the implant on the front teeth #12. The work was done by a skill oral surgeon and supervised by the prosthodontist to create the best job.

Patient 's smile line is too high and the bone quality is not enough .

So the surgeon must be careful to create the bone and fix the implant in the right position. The surgeon must expand bone at the #12 and remove the autogenous bone from the retromolar triangle at the lower jaw.

Titanium template is needed to hold the freez dried bone and autogenous bone in order to fill the area . Patient was fixed with the temporary splint bridge on #12 #13.for at least 4 months.

The patient flew directly from HongKong to do the surgery and then flew back immediately.Normally we need more time to follow up the case but in this case she can fly back any time.

1 OP film before the treatment

2 Splint porcelain crowns were loosed

3 Fixed the metal pin

4  There is a bone resorption at the pontic area (#12)

5 Fix the new temporary splint and plan for the implant surgery.

6  Sarah x-ray

7 Check the depth at the final diameter

8  Check the parallel and axis of the implant with the abutment #13

9 Check the depth gauge

10  Check the parallel and axis of the implant with the abutment #13

11 Check the depth on the screw tapping

12  Keep some bone from the Screw tapping to mix with the autogenous bone from the lower jaw

13 Remove the implant fixture from the steriled capule

14  Insert the implant

15 Check the parallel of the template abutment

16  Measure the labial plate bone which need to be augmented.

17	18  Make the incision at the lower jaw for bony harvesting.

19 Drill the autogenoue bone at the retromalar triangle at the lower jaw.

20  Keep the autogenous bone

21 Area of the removed autogenous bone ( harvesting bone)

22  Make to a small pieces of bone

23 Surgicel will be used to stop the bleeding at the bone which is being removed and suture to close the wound.

24  Make to a small pieces of bone

25	26  Measure the size of the area in order to create bone we needed.

27 Cut the titanium foil in the same size of the measurement

28  Titanium foil is ready to fix

29 Titanium foil closed space to cover the bone graft

30  Suture
